Elementary Summer School
ES - Promotional/Intervention Program
Dates/Times: June 2-30, 2026 / 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Sites: Brewster ES, Bruce ES, Dexter ES, Lucie E. Campbell ES, Robert R. Church ES, Winridge ES
Description:
Students in kindergarten, who have not mastered the required skills for Language Arts and Math and are recommended by their current school qualify for the Intervention program.
Students in grades 1, 2, 4, 5, who failed Language Arts and/or Math qualify for the Promotional program.
Courses Offered: Language Arts and Math (All students will take two (2) courses.)

Dates/Times: June 2-30, 2026 / 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Over Age for Grade (OAG) Qualification -
Courses Offered: Language Arts and Math (All students will take two (2) courses.)

Description:
Over Age for Grade (OAG) Qualification -
- Student must currently be enrolled in a MSCS District Managed School in grade 4.
- Student was retained a prior School Year.
- Student passes this current School Year.
- Student will take 5th grade Language Arts and Math in the summer.
- If student is successful, the student will be promoted to the next MSCS grade level (6) in the fall.
- Example: Current 4th grade students will take 5th grade Language Arts and Math in Elementary Summer School.
Courses Offered: Language Arts and Math (All students will take two (2) courses.)
